Etobicoke Collegiate Institute (E.C.I.)
was founded in 1928 on principles of high academic standards. For over 70 years, the
acceptance rate of our students by universities and colleges has confirmed our commitment
to maintaining these expectations. Our students' post-secondary success reflects the high
standards established for them by E.C.I. and expected by our community.
Our staff and community coaches believe that excellence in the high school experience
extends beyond the classroom. To promote social, emotional, and intellectual growth, we
offer students opportunities for responsible leadership through our wide array of
extra-curricular clubs and organizations.
